In our continued mission to better support Registered Student Organizations, in January, we hosted RSO Officer Training sessions, which you attended! Thank you! More than 120 student leaders were in attendance learning about what we saw as the most relevant information for RSO leaders.
We are seeking feedback to continue to develop this program and better serve student organizations. Please help us by completing the following form, so we have your input for further development of this program.
The Division of Student Affairs is requesting submissions for awards to be given away at the 44th Annual Awards & Recognition Ceremony on Thursday April 20th, 2017 at 7:00 pm in the Student Center Ballroom. Doors open at 6:30pm.
The Awards Ceremony is an annual CSU tradition recognizing outstanding individuals for their accomplishments this past academic year. Please consider presenting an award(s) for your department to recognize your best and brightest.
Individual departments are responsible for the following:
Creation and submission of your own awards.
Designating a representative from your department to present your award at the ceremony. A presenter MUST BE PRESENT regardless of if the student can attend or not
Purchasing the award, trophy, scholarship, check, or plaque to be given away
Again this year, we are asking all departments to limit their submissions to no more than 4 students per department and a 5 minute total time frame. This will help us keep the length of the program to a reasonable amount.
Please complete the nomination form before Friday March 31st, 2017 at noon. We will then notify the student of their honor through a formal invitation to the ceremony where you and your staff can present your trophy, plaque or scholarship. All award recipients will be offered the ability to bring three guests to the ceremony.
We look forward to your nominations so we can recognize these amazing students for all their accomplishments this year.
For clarification on anything please contact Catherine Tiesling at firstname.lastname@example.org
Nomination forms are due by Friday March 31st, 2017
